In this highly transparent role as a Principal Physical Design Engineer in Micron’s Central Engineering Group, you will be responsible for running and maintaining the ASIC Design flows using industry standard EDA tools for crafting next generation ASIC products for Micron on most recent technology nodes. You will have responsibilities that span design verification, physical design, and analog design teams.

The team member will work with a creative and highly motivated Central Engineering team using state of art technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:

• Good communication and cooperation skills to interact with ASIC design teams at all levels of verification, physical design, and analog design efforts
• Good working knowledge and experience in either working directly or indirectly at ASIC design related fields of verification, physical design, and analog design
• Maintain ASIC design strategies and vision for the goal of ever-increasing automation, reporting, and operating execution efficiency at Micron
• Experience in major EDA vendor tools such as Cadence and/or Synopsys

Qualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:

• 10+ years of proven experience in ASIC design team participation and/or management
• Relevant education and/or experience in the field of electronics and computer engineering and/or related field
• Stronghold on the fundamentals of digital electronics and microprocessors
• Required soft skills – Customer orientation, Good teamwork and communication skills. Good analytical and Problem-solving skills along with strong ownership, dedication and time management.
