Job Description

As a PQE Manager in MXA, you will need to manage and lead a group of team members, effectively and efficiently work with Manufacturing, Engineering, GQ, Central Teams, Product Engineering, and other areas to develop a best in class quality culture and drive improvements in Micron’s quality. You and your team will be responsible for reducing variation and driving resolution to deviations in MXA. In addition, your team will work with business partners and key stakeholders to develop strategies for continuous improvement in product quality and process controls and provide support for customer related issues and activities.

 Responsibilities and Tasks

Manage Product Quality:

• Chair the local MRB meeting for quality deviations which including provide containment & risk assessment and disposition.
• Work with deviation owner and drive 8D team to find true root cause, implement effective corrective and preventive actions and validate actions effectiveness
• Participate MRB meeting for network quality deviations (impacting MXA module) to ensure all MXA affected materials received correct disposition.
• Participate MXA change team & CCB meeting to provide product risk assessment
• Participate with area engineering team to properly identify module process potential failure mode and effects analysis to ensure FMEA effectiveness
• Coordinate with area owners to ensure all CAPA fanout from other sites been reviewed & accessed by MXA team
• Work with global A&T GDMS SWAT team for driving deviation management process improvement and ensuring business process implementation and compliance in MXA
• Participate module NPI Phase Gate review & HVM handover and provide Q&R assessment
• Provide documented performance management for all direct reports with formal and informal feedback, work on a plan jointly to enhance strengths and address weaknesses and establish performance plan goals with line of sight to MXA quality goals and key focus
• Identify quality improvement opportunity and create initiatives for quality issue prevention and quality improvement

Manage and Lead Team:

• Define clear performance objectives and expectations for PQE team.Provide documented performance management with formal and informal feedback, work on a plan jointly to enhance strengths and address weaknesses,
• Setup proper regular or adhoc communication channel to ensure the company and department updates/passdowns/sharings are communicated to PQE operation team as well as to receive their feedback.
• Define training and development plans for PQE team, monitor the progress and effectiveness. Develop learn and grow opportunities for the team.
• Advocate Quality culture, role modeling of Micron values
• Attract top talent to the group to meet operational objectives
