Job Description- Sr Manager, Logistics & Finished Goods

Job Descriptions

Oversee Finished Goods, Warehouse and logistics operations and providing strategic leadership to prioritize and direct key initiatives, projects, and process improvements related to Traffic and Logistics. In this role, you will work with Material Planning, ISM, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing, as well as external suppliers and regulatory entities to enable the storage, fulfillment and movement of goods. Duties will also include managing staffing goals and supervising other managers and staff, establishing and communicating department goals, and monitoring overall performance.
 

Job Responsibilities

Setup and manage material warehouse and FG processes to support business, in line with Global requirement using the Best Known Method

Introduce changes in line with GQ on Change Management

Manage relationship with Logistics Suppliers and other local support groups such as Facility and IT

Liaise with government officials, EPZ and China customs to ensure compliance and up to date

Review processes to achieve compliance to quality, with improvements in quality, CT, cost

Oversee Global Transportation Activities (the movement of capital equipment, parts, raw materials, and semi-finished goods) for Micron and Its Joint Ventures and develop long-term partnerships with logistic businesses

Maintain knowledge of Global Shipping Regulations (China regulations in particular) and International Commercial Terms, Handbook, Tariff, Value Added Tax (VAT), Consumption Tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and International Commercial Terms (Incoterms)

Support and drive company programs such as Safety, 6S, Quality, Cycle Time, Cost reduction, IATF certification, C-TPAT assessment, Compliance to statutory requirements, and other Automation projects, Migration projects

Ensure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment. Maintain knowledge of and apply company safety, labor, and ethics policies

Set directions for the teams and aligning resources such as engineering and SAP support

Manage budget and headcount forecast for the department to meet company's directions

Manage, Develop, and Provide Feedback on Employee performance

Develop clear goals and performance Index for the teams, to improve performances in line with overall business strategy

Coach and provide career development
