Process Control System Engineer – FMEA

 

Job Description

As a MXA Process Control (FMEA) Engineer, you will be responsible for FMEA/QCP & CPH thru identifying critical site quality focus areas, initiating quality improvement projects or activities, and measuring quality performance. You will track metrics, analyze data and evaluate/propose solutions to address problems and improve performance. You will also support other site quality improvement teams to conduct process gap analysis, implement corrective/preventive action and maintain compliance to Quality Standards.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

Implement and Improve the Site Processes

  • Participant network FMEA/QCP & CPH related activities, work with site operation team to ensure the business processes standards requirements compliance and deployment properly
  • Based upon the overall FMEA & CPH scoring, identify critical systems or processes where quality improvements are required, initiate projects or activities to analyze, evaluate and propose solutions to address the problem and drive improvement

 

Manage and Participate in Projects and Initiatives

  • Identify and drive Quality projects from initiation to completion
  • Evaluate existing business processes for performance improvement
  • Plan, perform, and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Organize, lead, or facilitate cross-functional project teams and communicate team progress
  • Utilize quality methods and tools to drive process improvement

 

Track and Monitor Key Process Performance

  • Analyze data and metrics to develop recommendations for improvement of processes
  • Summarize performance metrics for management review
  • Develop or implement metrics that provide data for process measurement
  • Utilize problem-solving methods and tools to solve complex problems

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent skills for leading or facilitating multi-organizational teams to success on complex multidimensional projects
  • Excellent communication skills in order to build teams comprised of key skills, to drive progress to plan and to get management support and buy-in on projects
  • Ability to drive problem resolution to root cause
  • Working knowledge of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Kepner-Tregoe methodologies, Lean concepts, 8D problem solving, and other quality and statistical methods and tools will be advantageous

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science and Engineering and above;
