Quality Operation Leader

We are looking for a Non-Volatile-Memory (NVM) Quality-Reliability-Assurance (QRA) Operation Leader who will operate inside a Laboratory environment covering Managed NAND Flash Memory systems product qualification operations and customer return (RMA) operations. The ideal candidate for this role would share our passion to supply a best-in-class product quality in a highly dynamic, and innovative environment. You will report directly to the NVM QRA Director supporting Engineering Teams for product qualification, units testing and stress execution as well as for RMA operations and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA).

 

This position is in Vimercate, Italy.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • You will be responsible for operational execution of Managed NAND Products Qualifications running in Vimercate Site, working with relevant Managed NAND Product Qualification and Product Development Engineering Teams managing priorities and ensuring the overall area performance vs. product roadmap.
  • You will be responsible for Fault Isolation (FI) and PFA lab supporting RMA and Qualification Engineering Teams in sample preparation and FI/PFA analysis.
  • Accountability for managing a technical staff of Engineers and Technicians to run Product Qualification and RMA operation for Managed NAND products
  • To interact regularly with teams from other sites or departments to maintain alignment, improve area efficiencies and foster working relationships. You will be expected to perform managerial reviews while providing technical support and expertise.
  • To manage the overall performance and development of the team where you will be expected to provide regular performance feedback to team members, establish goals and development plans and provide opportunities to expand skills and promote career growth.
  • To promote and support innovation for new capabilities (test/stress pathfinding), methods and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To manage and support problem solving when needed, and support Lab/Product Audits if applicable.

 

  The preferred candidate will have:

  • Knowledge about Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) including handlers, and environmental Reliability Stress Equipment.
  • Knowledge of Memory devices and their fabrication (Front-End and Back-End) and testing
  • Standard/Advanced in Office SW
  • Experience and knowledge about programming languages (C, C++) and/or about Memory/u-Controller Test equipment are preferred
  • Be independent and able to take decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Effective time and project management skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • A Positive attitude and high level of motivation
  • Sense of urgency
  • Flexibility to handle short-notice needs/requests

Education

  • Required: Bachelor or MS degree in Electronic Engineering

 

Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar role plus at least 3 years as team leader
