As a NAND Cell Array Device engineer in the Process and Device Technology Development group at Micron Technology Inc., you will be responsible for analyzing the cell device characteristics for future generation innovative NAND technologies in order to identify the main issues related with cell scaling and helping in issue containment/solution.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the process and device technology development of state of the art NAND cell, in particular by providing expertise in NAND Cell device physics and NAND array operation;
  • Characterize NAND cell test structures and arrays;
  • Analyze cell SWR lots and summarizing main results;
  • Contributing to the cell improvement effort (performance, reliability) by providing feedback to the Process Integration and Cell Engineers on process experiments and interactions with the way cell/array are operated.
  • Issuing technical reports about the performed analysis results and illustrating them to the team in the proper forums.

 

Qualifications:

 

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • A solid understanding of semiconductor devices and processes.
  • The knowledge of and experience with nonvolatile memories.
  • Experience of NAND array electrical characterization or attitude for that
  • The coding skills to characterize and model cell / array properties. Typical platforms/languages used: JMP, MATLAB, PERL, PYTHON
  • The ability to be highly skilled at driving for results. 
  • A strong attitude to teamwork with cross functional teams 
  • Solid communication and reporting abilities.

 

Education:           

Master degree in electrical engineering.
