As a Procurement Manager at Micron Memory Taiwan, you will be responsible for the management and development of direct reports to enable superior functional service delivery.

You will be responsible for overseeing and improving functional area performance by managing staffing, distributing and prioritizing work, and ensuring communication and training completion on safety, legal, and work requirements. You will assist with improving individual capability by conducting performance appraisals with team members to create goals and development plans.

 

Other responsibilities include

  • Promoting collaboration by assisting with workloads. Also, by supporting, leading, and participating in department and area improvement projects.
  • Providing a safe, compliant, and ethical work environment by maintaining current knowledge of requirements and monitoring for compliance, as well as actively resolving potential issues.
  • Manage Team Member Performance Communicate job expectations and changes.
  • Coach and provide career development Establish goals and monitor performance. Conduct performance appraisals
  • Collect, review, and provide verbal and written performance feedback for continual development
  • Manage employee performance, resolve conflict, and provide recognition
  • Build an Effective Team Prioritize work, remove barriers, and drive for accountability
  • Manage team staffing and succession Distribute work and learning opportunities
  • Empower team members and promote teamwork
  • Provide line of sight to strategic objectives
  • Oversee Functional Area Service Delivery
  • Provide consultation on work execution and problem solving
  • Assist in the troubleshooting of escalated issues and provide coaching for resolution
  • Coordinate and communicate policy and procedures
  • Monitor for adherence to policy and procedures and provide feedback Ensure team members are properly trained according to department compliance and work requirements
  • Identify and implement system and process improvements
  • Develop, monitor, and report performance metrics
  • Promote Collaboration and Provide Project Support Maintain a proactive and customer-focused approach
  • Act as liaison between team and customer group Support department performance improvement and cost reduction activities
  • Lead or participate in special projects Mentor cross-functional team members Promote partnership across functional areas and customer groups
  • Provide a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment according to RBA(EICC) Guidelines.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for process related activities and communications for a given location.

 

Accountable for organizing and hosting audits and for demonstrating compliance for all the applicable processes. Responsibilities:

  • Is an active member in business process review and improvement discussions among the site and the System Level Process team.
  • Hold site process review (quarterly for non-manufacturing processes and monthly for manufacturing processes.)
  • Responsible for introducing standard methods and deploying standard tools to his site.
  • Accountable for organizing process audits and demonstrating compliance to standards.
  • Act as the point of contact for bi-directional process communication (corporate & central groups <--> local site).
  • Work in alignment with related steering committees and Business Alignment Teams (BATs) where applicable.
  • Develop and maintain site specific process artifacts (when required by System Level Process).
  • Report process performance to site management.
  • Participate in the Business Process Management Center of Excellence (BPMCOE) when/if applicable.
  • Maintain local procedure, workflow, checklists as job aids for the performers.
  • Conduct regular reviews with site leadership.
