IT EA Solution Delivery Manager - Quality

We are changing the way Micron thinks about IT solution development and are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead our Enterprise Applications - Quality Solutions team.

We want someone with a proven track record for building and leading teams of Solution Analysts, Software Engineers, and Solution Architects to deliver high impact IT solutions. A successful candidate is business-focused, highly collaborative, and has a track record for solving tough problems while being focused about user experience.

This position will be located at our Fab11 facility located in Taoyuan, Taiwan. You will be working in a fast-paced, iterative environment that also affords the stability of a global, established and competitive technology company. You will work with senior business stakeholders to help define solution strategies, provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and create best of breed solution experiences that will set the standard for future development. You should be familiar with modern software development methodologies and be able to dive deep and rapidly iterate on ideas despite ambiguity.

Responsibilities and Tasks:


• Define, execute, and manage the business solution strategy supporting in conjunction with your global counterparts for the Procurement, Legal and Quality teams
• Manage area work portfolio delivery in terms of priority, schedule, cost, scope and quality
• Act as the embodiment of the agile mindset; lead teams in iterative product development using lean principles and a quality-first approach to development
• Act as a change agent, seeking opportunities to challenge the status quo to meet business objectives
• Bring a strong technical foundation; be able to engage the team on architecture and design and deep-dive on complex solutions, platforms and interface design
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and a broad set of internal technical partners to develop product roadmaps and execute against a solution backlog
• Ensure solution releases meet the highest standard in terms of end user experience, quality and performance
• Partner with peers across the enterprise to identify opportunities for code sharing, common services, joint development, reduced redundancy, etc.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry research to ensure we are leveraging new techniques while aligning with internal standards
• Demonstrate accountability; lead people with passion, enthusiasm, loyalty and integrity
• Own and lead HR processes such as employee engagement, performance reviews, talent development, etc.
• Provide leadership to cross‐functional teams and direction for technical and business partners
• Participate in long- range strategy planning to identify and address complex business issues
• Engage in resourcing processes to ensure organizational agility

Education
Required
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline

Experience
Required
5+ years experience in strong technical leadership

•    Experience in creating vision and executing to align with a strategic plan
•    Successful in driving strategic change in resourcing, tools and process
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to partner with senior business area leadership to push technology forward
•    Capable of leading technology change with excellent strategic and technical thought leadership
•    Strong skills in decision-making, prioritization and negotiation
•    Ability to retain and engage top talent with technical skills alongside design sensibility and emotional intelligence
•    Drive and accountability to lead others to excellence
•    Strong experience and capabilities in building high performance, self-managing teams
•    Successful in driving strategic change in resourcing, tools and process
•    Solid communication and presentation skills, must be fluent in both Mandarin and English.
