Job Description

As a F11 Facilities Gas and Chemical Manager, you are directly responsible for a team who sets up, maintains, and operates the gas & chemical systems that supply to F11A/B/C. The target is to build and operate a reliable, sustainable and competitive Facilities Gas and Chemical System for Business Success.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

Gas & Chemical System - Engineering

  • Figure out system expansion and enhancement roadmap in accordance with process requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to initiate, plan, execute, and complete Facilities projects.
  • Manage area-specific procedures and documentation.
  • Establish area budgets and manage all costs associated with project activities.
  • Establish regular area walks to identify opportunities for improving safety, cleanliness, housekeeping
  • Continuously benchmark Micron and industry best practices in developing a world-class Gas & Chemical team.
  • Develop business relationships with contractors that provide support to Facilities.

 

Gas & Chemical System – Maintenance

  • Demonstrate the ability to schedule and facilitate execution for required PM activities.
  • Promote area-specific procedures and documentation.
  • Establish area budgets and manage all costs associated with maintenance activities.
  • Use statistical methods to organize, calculate, and display data accurately.
  • Utilize metrics to evaluate current and past performance.
  • Establish regular area walks to identify opportunities for improved safety, cleanliness, housekeeping and efficiency.
  • Facilitate regular studies on redundancy, spare part needs, and PM effectiveness to reduce spend and increase reliability promoting lessons learned approach.
  • Continuously benchmark Micron and industry best practices in developing a world-class Gas & Chemical team.
  • Develop business relationships with contractor that provide support to Facilities.

 

Gas & Chemical System Operation

  • Measure Gas & Chemical services based on customer satisfaction and interruptions to fab.
  • Promote area-specific procedures and documentation.
  • Use statistical methods to organize, calculate, and display data accurately.
  • Utilize metrics to evaluate current and past performance.
  • Establish regular area walks to identify opportunities for improved safety, cleanliness, housekeeping and efficiency.
  • Suggest new tools, training, manuals, documentations which can increase TGCM effectiveness and control.

 

Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security

  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Demonstrate awareness of local permit policies, codes, and regulations and deploy them to the Gas & Chemical team.
  • Be an active participant in the EHSS program by reporting all EHSS-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (ERT, Supervision, etc.).
  • Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases.

 

Cost Reduction

  • Control costs associated with Gas and Chemical area.
  • Meet regularly with TM to create cost reduction projects, review financial progress, minimize expenditures, and promote a cost-conscious culture.

 

Team Building

  • Create succession plans for all positions in the Gas & Chemical team.
  • Establish regular and working interaction with peers from global and MU network.
  • Manage performance plans that contain clear job responsibilities and goals for each TM.
  • Work with supervisors to develop every TM through reach performance, 1-1, and training.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor above degree with five years of supervising employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in facilities Gas and Chemical system. Broad background in maintenance of various facilities systems and extensive knowledge of plant equipment, systems and processes.
  • Strong understanding of the impacts on manufacturing, facilities environments, and personnel resulting from actions taken on facilities equipment/systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills and ability to collaborate in teams, work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and make decisions with minimal guidance or counseling.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, reading and interpretive skills, and ability at problem solving.
