  • Manage and empower a team of Probe Equipment Support (ES) Engineers and Technicians, drive CAU (Capital Asset Utilization) and be responsible for 7x24 Probe equipment MA (Manufacturing Availability) with timely and correct tool configuration to enable Manufacturing Operations in meeting the Probe goals.
  • Ensure effective tool corrective maintenance and timely preventive maintenance and probecard IQC and troubleshoot.
  • Collaborate with YE/QEM team and be the first responder to Probe equipment-related low yield response.  Liaise with respective Probe internal stakeholders for effective resolution for challenging low yield triggers.
  • In-charge of tool standardization initiatives through hardware upgrade/retrofit and recipes fan-out and drive automation integration in Probe HVM environment.
  • In-charge of tool installation/deinstallation/relocation activities.
  • Collaborate with Equipment Engineering/Tool Owner team and Key Equipment Group on strategic and systematic tool-related improvement initiatives.
  • Drive equipment-related KPIs to meet company business objectives.
  • Initiate and facilitate CIP (Continuous Improvement Programs) with focus including tool uptime, both tool and labour productivity improvement, tool maintenance cost reduction, EQCC, etc.
  • Ensure effective communication between shift-to-shift passdown and clear communication between ES and Manufacturing team.
  • Lead, motivate and empower the ES team.
  • Maintain a relevant and structural training and certification program systematically enhancing the skillset of the team.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant semiconductor industry experience in high volume 300mm manufacturing, with 2 years’ experience as team leader and people management position.
  • Solid experience in state-of-the-art Probe equipment operation and troubleshooting, knowledgeable in test concept and understand the intricacy of hardware performance interaction with device testing.
  • Strong leadership skill in mentoring and managing engineer and technician teams working across shifts.
  • Excellent communication, analytical skills and good decision-making.
  • Proven ability to make decisions, multi-task, and troubleshoot problems and address root causes.
  • Strong demonstration leadership skills in as a supervisor and as an individual.
  • Good teamwork and collaboration across all functional groups, internally and externally.
  • Measure self and team for efficiency and effectiveness.
