Job Description

As Senior Manager, APAC Compensation and Benefits, you will be responsible for regional management of Micron’s programs in China, Taiwan and other locations as deemed necessary. You will work in collaboration with other Total Rewards managers, as needed in the regional setting and will also be participating in global projects. You are responsible for the continuous evaluation of our regional programs and lead any improvements to enable better business results. You will help to ensure these programs optimize Micron's competitiveness, enable high performance of our team members, and align to the business strategy and culture. You will partner and collaborate closely with key customers and HR partners in the countries you manage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead in the development, implementation and administration of base pay, short and long term incentives, and benefits policies and programs in the region
  • Ensure programs are crafted to be competitive with market practice and enable Micron to attract, reward, retain and engage team members
  • Balance between global standards and effective regional and site implementation.
  • Ensure programs and practices are in compliance with local laws and stay ahead of changes to statutory requirements and governance practices
  • Provide advice to leaders and other HR functions by serving as the subject matter expert in crafting and reviewing programs
  • Collaborate with regional business leaders to build and constantly strengthen our programs and services
  • Lead participation in market surveys and performance of market analysis to develop and recommend changes to programs, guidelines or practices

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Human Resources Management
  • Related field of study

Experience Required

  • 7+ years of Total Rewards experience
  • Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills to support global alignment while enabling regional and site-specific implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships of trust across regional lines
  • Demonstrated abilities in leading and coordinating projects and cross-functional teams
  • Robust understanding of key HR concepts and practices (employment law, compliance, engagement, retention, performance, compensation, recruiting)
  • Knowledge of HR systems, programs and regional footprint, trends
  • With international activities, conference calls in the early morning or late evenings are a normal course of business. Flexibility on both your part and the company’s is encouraged
  • Many activities within your organization are highly confidential and will require discretion
