SR MGR, Process Equipment Engineering

Micron’s Taiwan sites include sales and technical support in Taipei along with state-of-the-art fabrication facilities in Taichung and Taoyuan that together comprise the company’s DRAM Center of Perfection. The Center’s goal is to achieve the most efficient and effective technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by combining front- and back-end manufacturing, product engineering and technology development roles.

As a Process Equipment Senior Manager in F16 at Micron Taiwan, you will be primarily responsible for establishing clears goals, developing and optimizing processes; also working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity increase and risk management as well as resolving production related problems.

Lead and organize training, team building and skill development activities for team members. Develop a strong business relationship with suppliers. Balance cost, quality and output to meet up with equipment levels and achieve capacity demands.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Level up team contributions to align with site business plan, strategies and goals.
  • Manage, measure and supervise projects to meet results and timelines
  • Work with Equipment Engineering (EE) /Process Integration Engineering (PIE) /Quality Engineering (QE)/Advance Technology Engineering (ATE) departments to proactively collaborate solutions for all new parts, equipment and processing changes.
  • Work closely with managers in other domains to meet the needs of the Fab and construct strong peer relationships.
  • Measure and reduce all process and equipment variations.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing Central Team (MCT), ATE, EE, Purchasing, PIE, Planning and Production departments on new tool purchases.
  • Partner with Production departments to continually improve process efficiency, smoothen shift communication and enlarge wafer output.
  • Conduct performance management and professional development of direct reports.
  • Lead all aspects of technical and career development plan/activities. Develop internal talent pipeline for succession plans for key positions.
  • Set up challenging performance targets and ensure Line of Sight is communicated to each individual contributors
  • Ensure area scrap and excursion reduction plans are built and carried out
  • Promote and enable a safe and positive working environment

Requirements:

  • BSc or MS with an engineering major, 10-15 years or above experience in semiconductor process and equipment field (in DRAM), proven experience as a team leader for 3-5 years are preferred.
  • Excellent supervisory skills and be able to provide directions for the entire processing area
  • Working knowledge of the other Fab process
  • Ambitious, focused, creative with independent thinking and ability to multitasking.
  • Proactive and collaborate effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proficient communication in both English and Chinese.
