Job Description

As a Fab Process Hazard Engineer (PHE) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for reviewing, identifying, characterizing and mitigating process hazards and risks associated with semiconductor manufacturing through systematic review of chemicals, processes, equipment and technologies. You will be a member of a global process hazard analysis peer network and will play an integral role in the development, implementation and sustainment of a risk based Process Safety Management (PSM) program to cultivate a culture of “safety first”. You will also be responsible for working with the site hazard analysis team and any other required Micron parties to achieve a world-class process safety environment.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Implement and Support Process Safety Program and Initiatives -Support implementation of Micron’s risk based process safety management (PSM) system
  • Identify and characterize process hazards in processes, equipment, and technologies and update the Relative Risk Analysis table as appropriate
  • Conduct or participate in risk analysis or hazard identification through the use of industry accepted techniques such as Hazard and Operability Studies (HazOp), LOPA, What-If review or other similar processes
  • Coordinate compilation of the Safety Release Document (SRD) during HVM transfer
  • Evaluate process chemistry, including reactivity, byproduct formation, and other material characteristics (i.e. flammability, corrosives, etc)
  • Assist EHSS CIT following up and conduct process safety related incident investigation
  • Hazard identify by reviewing process change notification,ie: GCP , MOC(變更管理)
