As a Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the management and development of direct reports to enable superior functional service delivery. You will be responsible for managing and improving functional area performance by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build and execute service strategies aligned to corporate strategic objectives. You will assist with improving individual capability by conducting performance appraisals with team members to create goals and development plans.

You will monitor performance metrics to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities. Other responsibilities include ensuring organizational compliance to company policies and regulations, as well as to departmental procedures, and providing organizational leadership for building and implementing department strategies, processes, and policy through active participation in functional teams and projects, as well as mentoring other functional leaders through collaboration and the development of sustainably successful solutions.

Responsibilities:

•            Complete all required safety training and ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with Micron’s safety policies.

•            Assist in the definition of projects and programs to meet goals for startup, yield, quality and ramp

•            Assist in the development of project plans and associated communications material/plan

•            Improve area processes and equipment to drive FAB 16 achievement of the TTMCY goal.

•            Work closely with OMT teams to improve the Fab processes and equipment to meet the of the TTMCY goal.

•            Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders

•            Inform each member of your team of their job expectations, and hold them accountable to the expectations

•            Meet regularly with each employee to work on clarifying expectations, developmental plans/execution

•            Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members

•            Provide recognition for progress and project/program member contributions
