Micron’s Taiwan sites include sales and technical support in Taipei along with state-of-the-art fabrication facilities in Taichung and Taoyuan that together comprise the company’s DRAM Center of Perfection. The Center’s goal is to achieve the most efficient and effective technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by combining front- and back-end manufacturing, product engineering and technology development roles.

As a Global Quality (GQ) Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the management of a Functional Area to ensure superior service delivery and establish a high performing team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing functional area performance by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build and execute service strategies aligned to organization and corporate strategic objectives. Within your functional area, you will be accountable for ensuring a high performing team and improving individual capability through effective performance management systems. You will establish and monitor functional area performance metrics to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities. Other responsibilities include ensuring area compliance to company policies and regulations, as well as to departmental procedures. You will provide leadership and build and implement functional strategies, processes, and policy through participation in cross-functional teams and projects. You will mentor direct reports through collaboration and the development of sustainably successful solutions. You will also be responsible for supporting corporate business initiatives, providing direction thereof, and driving a clear understanding of line of site within your functional group.


Job Description
Develops, implements, and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities.
Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.  

Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations. 

Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. 

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Requirement

At least 3 years experience in each of the following:

  • Leadership Position
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems
  • Assembly and Test Process in Manufacturing Environment

 

Demonstrated ability utilizing performance management systems to develop high performing teams
Organized, detail-oriented, and strong focus on accuracy
Demonstrated ability to inspire team work and to effectively lead others
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under strict deadlines and in a rapidly changing environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proven facilitation skills including the ability to influence others, build consensus, and resolve conflict
Ability and willingness to travel internationally, if required
