Job Description

As an IT Application Developer Support at Micron, you are in the L2 support team of our Application Service CoE team, follow the ITSM/ITIL, we support incidents ticket as issue tracking, making sure we provide the proper solution to our customers, and escalate ticket to the right support teams. Making sure our customer is satisfied for the services. Identify the process flaw or the system gaps and propose best practice to make our service better. Join the on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support. Learn from our experts to create knowledge documents. Understanding the urgency of our customer request and take necessary step to provide the resolution and follow our SLA.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Work with the team and customer to analyze problem, find solution, maintain our application stability.
  • Create system knowledge documentation, testing, training, and post-deployment assessments.
  • Install, configure, support, and maintain web solutions with current OS/software/firmware patches and upgrades.
  • Coordinate planned downtime and software installs of assigned servers.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call technical support and expertise for customer issues
  • Evaluate and test new software for compatibility with the computing environment.
  • Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Communicate and collaborate with peer groups (enterprise architects, security team, network team, etc.).

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in computer engineering / Information management preferred.
  • Good English communication skill
  • Have the following relevant experience or training
    • C#.Net
    • MS SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures)
    • PowerShell/DSC
    • Rest API design
  • Not required and is desirable
    • Windows Administration
    • Experience with networking/DNS
    • Asynchronous programming
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding on ITIL/ITSM.
