Job Description:

 

As a Global Quality AT QE Quality Deviation Management Engineer, you will be involve deviation management process and quality management driving global quality improvement through 6S/ TPM program working with central engineering team. This is done through network procedural standardization, streamlining of control points to govern inline process against quality deviation, as well as chairing projects across network on related CIPs.

 

You will be also involved in Quality projects relating to big data and AT automation, working together with SMAI team, IT MFG and automation team.

 

As GQ Quality engineer at MTB site, you are expected to work closely with site team, identifying quality opportunities and working with central team developing global strategy in area like OCAP, FMEA, Control Plan and risk mitigation to ensure ZERO customer excursion due to change activities.

 

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

  • Partner with PDE, Backend Site Quality, MFG, and PEE to set expectations for manufacturing processes and systems deliverables that meet or exceed customer's expectations.
  • Collaboration with Central/Site engineering 6S/TPM program together with SMAI team.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the Back-End Change Management business processes and systems specifically on the Assembly process.
  • Provide change management expertise and support MTB manufacturing systems, processes, and capabilities through leveraging on knowledge, experience, and skills on a timely manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs and execution network wide with BKM sharing (e.g. PM/CM/Tool Disposition/PMQ/Reaction Plans)
  • Facilitate and drive global peer groups to ensure alignment on strategy and roadmap to achieve benchmark change management processes. Tasks includes:
    • Preventive Maintenance/ Tool Dispositions and Reaction Plans
    • Leading Change Management SWAT meetings to drive network alignment and establish Business Process Improvement projects
    • Maintaining Global Back End Change Management specifications and documents
  • Monitor change management processes through metrics with clear line of sight to strategic objectives and/or manufacturing big rocks.
    • Identify metrics suite to measure and monitor the Backend Quality performance
    • Establish metric targets with the stakeholders to drive for continual quality improvements
    • Provide regular management updates on network quality performance
    • Partner with Site Quality to understand performance gaps and improvement plans

 

Requirements :

  • Knowledge and experience of backend manufacturing standards and processes (e.g. PM, 6S, TPM, etc)
  • Proficiency in change control methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple complex and quality improvement projects
  • Track record of performance excellence for current area of responsibility, previous areas handled, and be recognized as having demonstrated successful engineering characteristics both in present and past jobs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written 
  • Data analytic (e.g. Excel, SAS JMP, Power BI)
  • Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
