TSE PROBE PROCESS ENGINEER

As a Probe Process Engineer in Test Solutions Engineering (TSE) Key Equipment Group (KEG), you will have responsibilities for supporting and maintaining Probe processes and software that are co-developed with Micron’s Global Manufacturing sites, or directly sent to the Manufacturing sites.  You will be responsible for providing technical solutions in your domain with focus on Taiwan and Singapore needs primarily. You will be responsible for maintaining, validating and coordinating releases of global processes software ensuring that the resulting Manufacturing Quality meets or exceeds our customers’ requirements.   You will be chartered to work on anticipated future needs and drive probe process to support new business requirements within your domain. Technical direction will be provided by US based TSE leadership.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and maintain the Global Probe All Crunch Process
  • Develop, code, validate and coordinate releases
  • Gather requirements from internal customers (Test, Assembly, Product & Quality Engineering) in support of Probe data systems & capability enhancements. (i.e. HBM, External Si & emerging technologies)
  • Support new global Probe sites initial development into Micron Probe and DFS environment
  • Generate metric reports (Efficiency & Effectiveness) for Probe processes within domain
  • Initiate and or chair meetings with global Probe sites in support of probe processes for your domain
  • Collaborate with global teams in the Probe network to establish and implement BKM Global Probe Processes
  • Monitor Global Probe process results to ensure they meet required Manufacturing Quality
  • Investigate FOAK (first of a kind) manufacturing issues, and develop methods or processes to close gaps
  • Statistical data analysis of Probe data sets in support of process
  • Additional focus may be placed on HBM support while in its development stages

 

Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Strong skills in Linux/Unix, Perl, C and or C++
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products (i.e advanced excel for data manipulation)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others in cross functional initiatives and drive for results
  • Flexibility to accommodate off-shift meetings
  • Track record of delivering accurate on-time results

Required Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
