As a Product Compliance Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and providing product compliance information for Micron products to Micron's external and internal customers. You will work with stakeholders and Micron customers to understand requirements and ensure that Micron products conform to those requirements. You will collect and upload product content data, provide information to internal and external parties regarding Micron Policy and interpretation of statutory and regulatory requirements. You will also coordinate collection and review of documentation to support certifications and conformance to statutory and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will work with external customers, suppliers, as well as Micron's stakeholders (Business Units, Design Engineers, EHS, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Subcontractors and Sales) to support and coordinate audits, manage materials testing, interpret or implement customer specifications and industry regulatory requirements. You will be expected to monitor and review global compliance regulations as well as customer requirements through published rulemakings, guidance from regulatory agencies, conferences, and work groups and respond to changes as applicable.

 

Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:

Supporting and coordinating customer audits
Provide certification and information via external web site (micron.com)
Provide compliance certifications via Salesforce.com
Create and provide Material Declarations
Review customer specifications against Micron Product Content Specification
Create review notices with exceptions
Implement customer specific requirements as applicable
Collect and send material to be tested
Submit test results to the subject matter experts
Provide new Business Units with product content requirements
Perform assessments of new products to ensure products conform to statutory and regulatory requirements
Interpret industry regulatory requirements as they pertain to Micron products
Monitor changes through published rulemaking, guidance, subscription, conferences, and work groups
Review legislative, industry, customer, and third-party requirements
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to interact easily with other groups
Good written and verbal communication skills and computer skills
Working knowledge of software systems and database structures is a plus
