The Advanced Technology DRY ETCH ENGINEER is responsible for DRY ETCH proess owner to advance Micron’s latest DRAM technology for manufacturing Fab startup and volume ramp in FAB 16. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete all required safety training and ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with Micron’s safety policies. 
  • Assist in the definition of projects and programs to meet goals for startup, yield, quality and ramp
  • Assist in the development of project plans and associated communications material/plan
  • Improve area processes and equipment to drive FAB 16’s achievement of the TTMCY goal. 
  • Work closely with Fab 16 teams to improve the Fab processes and equipment to meet the of the TTMCY goal.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders – all FAB 16 module/division engineering teams and Micron DRAM network
  • Good understanding of process flow
  • Create SWR or DOE to define the process margin for Yield
  • Aware of future conversions and has an action plan to qualify and convert to new processes.
  • Good understand of Micron system (GeRM/SIGMA/SPACE…etc.)
  • MTSPC charts have appropriate limits to avoid excursions and all OOC and OOS data has comments and corrective actions.
  • Has continuous improvement plans for increasing the consumable life and process margin.
  • Expert on the process, capable of performing advanced troubleshooting, good understanding of the tools used for the process, good understanding of the part types
  • Issues identified through yield correlations are communicated to PI/YE/RDA and appropriate actions taken
  • Review process performance and address issues before they result in QDR’s, scrap or excursions

  • 精通製程及生產機台及耗材
  • 跟PI/YE/RDA 合作改善良率
  • 透過製程表現的監控, 在偏差事件發生前就能夠預防

Education and Experience:

  • BS, or MS in a technical field or equivalent experience.  Previous supervisory experience is beneficial. 技術領域理工學士或碩士,或同等經驗。
