MTB 3DI / HBM Assembly Technician

Responsibilities and Tasks

·  Determine Origin of Deviation, Isolate Cause, and Dispose Deviation Lots
·  Manage product deviations through identification, notification, containment, documentation, and disposition
·  Maintain knowledge of department equipments, materials, and processes to identify cause(s) of deviation
·  Maintain understanding of equipment technology and packaging/testing techniques
·  Maintain knowledge of baseline assembly build protocol
·  Maintain understanding of direct packaging materials used in production
·  Maintain knowledge of FAB and PROBE processes to identify non-Assembly deviations
·  Maintain knowlege of qualified supplier sources
·  Troubleshoot deviations using systematic troubleshooting techniques
·  Identify product deviations and determine how the deviation affects each product type
·  Label deviations using Assembly deviation codes
·  Maintain knowledge of Assembly and Test infrastructure to notify personnel affected by deviations
·  Maintain knowledge of Assembly contacts according to product type
·  Work with MAM team to modify product level in MAMSI for deviated lots
·  Complete and dispose lots on hold for QDR team
·  Provide passdowns that are detailed, accurate, and complete including written notes when appropriate
 

Analyze Data
·  Use appropriate formats for summation and presentation of analysis including databases, charts, graphs and reports
·  Extract data from a variety of sources/tools such as EUI, ETI, MAM, AOST tools, etc
·  Determine and understand data requirements from requestor(s)
·  Ensure the reliability of data collected and presented
·  Make decisions based on data such as material containment, machine log down, material hold for engineers disposition, etc
·  Anticipate and analyze issues based on past and current manufacturing situation
·  Use appropriate problem-solving techniques
 

Maintain Area Documents and Training Material
·  Ensure area documents (e.g. AODS) and training materials (e.g. OJT) are up-to-date including operating procedures, product specifications, and training aids
·  Be active in reviewing updated documents that are notified via ECN workflow or EDM inbox
·  Provide recommendations on new training materials and documents when necessary
·  Suggest changes to department documentation for clarity and accuracy

 

Contribute to a Safe and Compliant Work Environment
·  Identify and promptly report hazards
·  Follow safety procedures and area work rules (including use of proper PPE, energy isolation, and chemical safety)
·  Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer and company guidelines
·  Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner
·  Recognize and take the initiative to resolve safety issues (eg. mislabeled or non-labeled chemicals).
·  Recognize and react appropriately to all equipment safety alarms.
·  Understand that he/she has the right and responsibility to hold other lab personnel accountable for following all safety and environmental procedures and that he/she should immediately address all violations with the employee or the employee’s direct supervisor.

 

REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
•Demonstrated track record in baseline performance improvement, business process creation, data interpretation skills and proficiency in statistical analysis/method like JMP/Yield3 analytic tools
•Excellent analytical skills and organizational competency with good oral and written communication skill
•Proficiency in critical computer applications like Excel, Word, Power Point & statistical tools
