Job Description

As Senior Financial Analyst, CAPEX and Sales & Operations Planning (SNOP), you will play a central role in capital investment planning and SNOP strategic analysis. You will serve as the primary liaison between the Operations Planning, Procurement, and Operations Finance teams in Asia and the Boise Operations Finance team. This role requires excellent business partnering skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a broad and diverse group of stakeholder organizations.  The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional looking for a highly visible role interacting with senior executives to drive corporate financial initiatives in preparation for future career advancement.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Collaborate with Operations Planning, Procurement, Asia Operations Finance and Boise Operations Finance teams to ensure alignment on the following items:

  • Management of organizational Capital budgets (projects, ROI’s, savings targets, etc)
  • Analysis of the Financial impact of SNOP scenarios (cost/part, NPV, etc.)
  • Forecasting gain/loss related to the disposal of the company’s assets

In support of these processes you will:

  • Ensure the delivery of quality and timely financial data in support of these processes
  • Understand the missions and priorities of each organization
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within each organization
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within these processes
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leaders in diverse geographies
  • Educate the teams on systems, processes and policies

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the management of capital items in the Asia region
  • Serve as a SME in support of a new SAP based capital planning system (CALM)
  • Facilitate the financial planning and review process for Asia non-manufacturing sites

Education

  • Required:  Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred:  Master’s Degree

Experience

  • Required:  3+ years of experience
  • Preferred:  5+ years of experience

Qualifications

  • Ability to come up with creative solutions and to think beyond what has already been done
  • A strategic, analytical and creative thinker who can translate findings into insight and develop tangible action plans for implementation
  • Passion to work on a global, diverse team and ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal communication)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence multiple levels of management in varying business areas
