We are now looking for a Site Security Supervisor is who will be responsible for direct supervision of security personnel (Micron employees or contracted security staff) at our Micron Singapore offices. You will create local security programs, to reduce the risk to Micron employees. Deep knowledge of crafting assets including access control, loss prevention, workplace violence prevention, intelligence gathering, threat analysis, countermeasure deployment, alarm point and closed-circuit television applications, risk assessment, and investigations.


The Security Supervisor leads and monitors performance of security officers on duty and get additional support as needed. You will have a deep understanding of building security systems, policies and procedures in compliance with Company directives, guidelines, and the law.


In this role, you will lead physical security operations for the site.

  • We are looking for a highly motivated self starter to implement Micron Security Standards & Guidelines by using established protocols to minimize occurrences of Loss Prevention
  • Administer badge access to guard against unauthorized intrusion to Micron premises and control pedestrian and vehicular traffic using established practices to control ingress/egress
  • Monitoring installed surveillance systems and strive for officers to stay in sync with duty post and relief schedules
  • Deliver appropriate support security service or support to other functional groups using security standard methodologies as a guide
  • Support the strategic direction of global security policies and leading positive relationships with key internal partners
  • A natural self starter who establishes and improves relationships with local law enforcement and security providers
  • Conduct physical security risk assessments on an annual basis and in alignment with corporate guidelines
  • You will be a resilient Regional Security Manager on investigations, as appropriate, in keeping with corporate requirements
  • Monitor conformance of guards to security post orders (or contract expectations) through the use of key performance indicators
  • Monitor and ensure implementation and maintenance of a security personnel training program
  • Maintain security systems and equipment to ensure effective operational resilience in the protection of Micron assets and ensure proper reporting of malfunction for prompt repair/replacement
  • Administer general and emergency communication systems to include management of the Security Control Room, where applicable, and Lobby operation


Education and Background:

  • Associates Degree in Security field or minimum of 5 years experience as a security supervisor and 5 years military or law enforcement experience or equivalent experiences. Professional certification as Certified Protection Specialist (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Professional Security Investigator (PSI) or Industrial Security Professional (ISP) is desirable. Security license may be required based on position location.
