As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Micron Fab10W, you will report to the Manager/Supervisor and be part of an existing team responsible for Electrical Projects and Maintenance. You will be working alongside other team members and contractors to carry out all electrical related activities(Design, Operation and Maintenance).  



  • Expert understanding on electrical systems operational and maintenance capabilities in order to provide critical support and ensure maximum equipment uptime and system reliability.
  • Plan, Organize and Coordinate all Electrical projects to support Wafer Fab Manufacturing equipment and assuring electrical designs meet all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Perform Electrical system refurbishment, upgrading and/or Electrical expansion projects not limited to High/Low Voltage Electrical systems, UPS and power quality systems;
  • Supervise Projects and manage Electrical maintenance programs/schedules to ensure a high level of work quality and Safety compliance;
  • Providing support for start-up of new equipment, and ensuring all equipment will properly interface to other mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Provide cost estimates and Assessment of proposed projects;
  • Participate in the evaluation, planning and supervision of engineering projects including testing and commissioning.
  • Respond and troubleshoot issues/interruptions related to electrical system in all disciplines.
  • Identify and deploy sustainability, cost reduction efforts while optimizing and reducing energy usage for electrical systems throughout the network
  • Send out regular updates with key items of focus and initiatives. 
  • You will review FIPA/METS events and provide recommendations to drive the reduction of critical electrical impact events. 
  • Collaborate with the construction / engineering team to insure alignment on projects
  • Review site sustaining capital requests in collaboration with construction/engineering
  • Implementing safety into all designs in accordance with company safety guidelines.



  • Maintaining capacity and load data for assigned systems and areas.
  • Responsible for maintaining various administrative and engineering data bases in support of job tracking, engineering data, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads and capacities.
  • Performing research and development on emerging facilities technologies to support state of the art semiconductor processes.
  • Participating in infrastructure planning in support of the overall company strategy.
  • Identifying and deploying cost reduction efforts while optimizing and reducing energy usage for electrical systems throughout the network.
  • Analyzing and benchmarking equipment performance for the site compared to other Micron facilities.
  • Identifying and developing training programs that support site efforts.
  • Assist in the forecasting of site energy budgets.

  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facility systems (preferred).

  • A customer service approach and excellent interpersonal skills (preferred).
  • Fluent computer skills including spreadsheet, database, and CAD packages (preferred).
  • A high level of self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision (preferred).
  • The ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently while prioritizing and scheduling workload (preferred).
  • Knowledge of statistical controls (preferred).
  • Knowledge of fire protection systems (optional)



  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience, semiconductor or cleanroom environment will be advantageous;
  • Candidates certified as a Licensed Electrician will be advantageous.
