As an Inbound Supply Management individual contributor, you will develop and execute a holistic strategy and be part of a worldwide team dedicated to this function across all Back End manufacturing locations.


You will also implement global inventory strategy by establishing site-specific implementation timing, identifying required implementation resources and developing communication channels and tools to introduce the new strategy.


You will help build the strategy for global inventory by understanding current and future needs, analyzing market and company trends, benchmarking outstanding approaches, and finding opportunities to improve processes, systems and product/services. Then, you will prioritize and drive the implementation based upon estimating timing and level of savings gathered.


Making sure the department is aligned with company and departmental policies and procedures is part of this role as is providing feedback to leadership on building and implementing department strategies, processes, and policy through active participation on teams and projects.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:


Execute Strategic Improvement Plan for Global Inventory Locations


  • Work with direct and cross-functional teams to implement and execute global inventory strategic direction for Front End (FE) and Back End (BE) manufacturing sites
  • Implement recommended actions to achieve targets for global inventory value, turns, safety stock and replenishment points
  • Implement inventory specific savings levers such as vendor stocking, supplier handled, or consignment programs
  • Implementation of inventory strategies and compliance and participate in the resolution of any constraints or issues
  • Deliver ASE/QBR scorecard metric targets to Category Team
  • Communicate global inventory status, trends, and results to the ISM Director along with all pertinent partners
  • Monitor and adjust global inventory compliance to regulatory and policy requirements
  • Actively participate in Weekly Work review meetings to measure and monitor performance to identified critical metrics through aligned metrics


Collaborate with Stakeholders, Procurement Partners, and Suppliers on Global Inventory Strategies


  • Ensure partner requirements met
  • Communicate strategic goals, inventory management plans, initiatives and targets to partners, suppliers, and global procurement teams
  • Maintain relationships with partners
  • Drive and sustain effective communication internal and external partners


Collaborate with Partners to Deliver Strategic Solutions

  • Develop and maintain expertise in global inventory management through relationships with partners, suppliers, and industry trends
  • Implement processes to monitor partner satisfaction
  • Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement
  • Maintain close interaction with procurement category teams to ensure category-related needs are addressed


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field of study
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in one or more of the following Engineering and/or Purchasing/Procurement
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to be a persuasive advocate
  • Proven relationship management skills
  • Innovation and teamwork focused
  • Able to work independently or with a cross functional team


Preferred Skills:


  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of SAP
