Job Description

As a Assembly/Test Central Planning Modeling Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of the Planning team that is primarily focused on strategic planning for Assembly/Test/Module operations. This includes collaborating with SupplyChain Sales & Oprations Planning as well as capacity modeling using Micron Capacity Supermodel (CSM)

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Sales and Operations Planning for the Assembly/Test/Modules and global sites review
• Execute Backend plans and scenarios to align to backend strategies
• Participate in Assembly/Test/Modules scenario studies to align to global Micron strategies
• Site Routing role for global network of Assembly/Test/Modules
• Propose continuous improvement and alignment efforts for Assembly/Test Sales and Operations Planning processes
• Assist with Assembly/Test/Modules headcount modeling for HR budgeting
• Support financial business cycle handoff to Central Finance

Product Site Routing in Capacity Modeling

• Partner with global sites Assembly/Test IE team to define on modeling parameters for product site routing
• Collaborate with POM and Factory Network teams on roadmap alignment for Micron, SpecTek and CPG products
• Support network balance of global capacity to reduce capital investment.
• Executes site routing with CSM Network Optimizer based on strategic roadmap and product priorities

Strategic Support of the Capacity Supermodel (CSM)

• Supports CSM mapping to SupplyChain planning systems CTM/ESP for capacity modeling and analysis
• Maintain Micron, SpecTek and CPG products routing in CSM with strategic alignment with Factory Network teams
• Collaborate with NPI teams on setting up new products in CSM for capacity modeling
• Partner with SPE (Systems and Process Engineering) on user acceptance testing, troubleshooting, training, and improvements

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering field
• Proficient with Microsoft software
• Decision making skills using data analysis techniques
• Ability to translate broad general concepts into tangible deliverables
