MANAGER, NVE MANAGED NAND PE - MULTI-CHIP PACKAGE

As a Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Managed NAND Product Engineering Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will lead a team of brilliant engineers to solve complex problems. You and your team are responsible to enable New Product Introduction by closely working with the cross functional teams such as 3D NAND device, LPDRAM device, ASIC and FW teams, and assist Qualification and Ramping of cutting edge MCP mobile and embedded products. You will manage and develop your team of Product Engineers by coaching, establishing goals, providing career development, and conducting performance appraisals. Also define training requirements for new engineers, deliver instruction, and assist with data analysis and project management as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

•             Manage a team of Product Engineers responsible for defining and developing high quality, cost-efficient test strategies for Micron MCP mobile and embedded products.

•             Understand LPDRAM defect mechanisms, and Test capabilities to develop effective and innovative production system test suites.

•             Provide guidance through electrical failure analysis and resolution of product-related issues.

•             Establish robust business processes with partnering teams to validate all Test changes systematically, efficiently and drive continual improvement.

•             Oversee team’s performance to meet project milestone deliverables and achieve best-in-class quality, yield, test-time metrics.

•             Drive best practices through continual alignment and appropriate knowledge sharing.

•             Enhance technical capability of the team by exploring training opportunities and new analysis techniques.

•             Support assembly and fab risk assessment for proper disposition of material.

•             Routinely communicate overall product status to leadership and cross functional product teams.

•             Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide guidance on career development for the team.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

•             7+ years of relevant product-related working experience.

•             Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

•             Understanding of volatile and nonvolatile memory interfaces including UFS and LPDRAM.

•             Management experience leading a technical team in a sophisticated technology company.

•             Possess strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate the team.

•             Effective communication skills in written and spoken English.

•             Good multitasking and organizational skills, able to make decisions in complex situations.

•             Ability to delegate tasks and set priorities in a team environment.

•             Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

•             Strong presentation skills.
