Job Description

As an Assembly and Test Central Planning (ATCP) Scenario Planning Manager / Senior Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you will play a key role in shaping the AT Manufacturing strategies through robust scenarios analysis and ensuring these are translated to the business plans for execution.


You will be interfacing with Site leaders and key stakeholders across the network in leading scenarios studies to provide data and options to the Executives for guidance and decision-making.


Lead Assembly and Test (AT) scenario analysis

  • Define and lead in AT internal scenario studies
  • Facilitate financial analysis studies with the Finance teams and Stakeholders
  • Review outcome of the studies with the Executives to facilitate decision-making
  • Translate decision to the business plan for execution


Captive Sites Space Planning

  • Monitor Captive Sites’ production space utilization for potential space constrain triggers
  • Support space-creation studies with the Site teams to fulfill business requirements
  • Review options with the Executives if capital is needed to facilitate decision-making
  • Support Greenfield analysis as required


Lead Long Range Planning (LRP) Analysis

  • Seek guidance from the Executives on strategic direction; geographical diversification, captive growth, emerging technologies and others
  • Work with Model Of Records (MOR) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to refresh input parameters
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain to rationalize the volume profile for analysis
  • Populate manufacturing tool-count and space needs of the network
  • Review and facilitate discussions on strategic plans


Participate and Manage Projects

  • Support special projects aligning with the AT Strategic objectives
  • Assist with analysis of current and future processes/systems
  • Complete tasks by assigned due date
  • Communicate status of tasks
  • Report issues, risks, changes, and quality concerns to the project manager and team
  • Assist with documentation and training needs for new processes


Manage Human Resources

  • Support and contribute to developing, modifying, and executing company policies
  • Manage organizational structure, staffing, and culture
  • Adhere to HR workplace policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Set and support workplace priorities
  • Drive accountability through clear communication, informal feedback, effective project management, and appropriate usage of metrics.
  • Energize the work force with continuous updates, monthly all hands meetings, and sharing status of actions, projects and task on hand via systematized dash boards
  • Promote and enable a Values based and performance management (PM) culture in the team
  • Build trust-based relationships within the team and across organizations


Ensure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment

  • Comply with company safety, labor, and ethics policies
  • Oversee execution of mandatory training for direct reports
  • Encourage a culture of safety and recognize contributions made to supporting a safe work environment
  • Participate in process improvement activities
  • Identify errors before they get to the next step

  • Follow and support company-wide and department safety procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and accident-free work environment
  • Promote high integrity processes that will enable immediate sharing of problems, issues and solutions with management team



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Supply chain or a related field of study
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing or any related field. Position offered will depend on the relevant experience and skillsets
  • Understand basic factory dynamics and manufacturing configurations
  • Knowledge of area process, product flow, and budget impacts (business acumen)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently or with a cross functional team
  • Interact with management and executives comfortably
