Job Description

As the Contamination Control Manager, you will be responsible to ensure the cleanroom and supporting areas in F10 is well maintained and free of contaminations. This position requires interaction with different groups and departments to support the need for contamination monitoring, control and improvement, covering Airborne particles, Liquid particles and Airborne Molecular Contaminations.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Implement site and corporate strategic programs and directives to support long-term Contamination Control goals.
  • Collaborate with Process Modules, RDA, PI, FAC, Fab Support and YE to address all yield and reliability issues related to Cleanroom environmental conditions. 
  • Communicate effectively with the various Fab departments regarding contamination and product risk-assessment
  • Partner with Fab Engineering teams to develop and implement strategic support plans. 
  • Engage MCT Contamination Control Team to discuss and align on future industry direction.
  • Develop challenging performance targets and effectively communicate Line of Sight to individual contributor. 
  • Guide Engineers in conducting root cause analysis and creating plans for excursion prevention. 
  • Provide technical guidance to the team based on chemistry knowledge and understanding on process requirements
  • Improve Contamination Control capability by developing new analytical methods/deploying new tools to provide necessary troubleshooting support
  • Apply broad knowledge (chemistry, process, equipment etc) to solve problems encountered. 


  • Ability to mentor and manage the performance of direct reports

  • Demonstrated success in troubleshooting problems and addressing root causes
  • Proactive in regard to addressing concerns that may be potential problems
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects and driving them to completion
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer/co-worker relationships
  • Successfully sets the behavioral example by being proactive, jumping on the problems, communicating openly, and taking responsibility
  • Understanding of International Standards (like IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001).


Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience on

  • Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Material Science or

  • Related field of study
