Job Description

The Front-End Global Planning Program Engineer works closely with the senior leadership teams and program partners to initiate and run programs and business process to achieve corporate business goals. You will be forging close partnership with site leadership and diverse global teams to align network strategic direction and lead frontier learning programs to drive towards Best In Class performance for Micron Front End Operations!

 

Responsibilities:

Drive aligned strategic and direction

  • Handle the definition, refinement, and implementation of core methodologies and tools for business process including reporting
  • Data analytics to identify root cause using descriptive/ predictive/ statistically modelling. Highlight risks, effective resolution of issues and formulate opportunities into projects to drive systemic improvement.
  • Lead, audit and conduct industrial diagnostics practices, techniques and concepts (eg LEAN, VSM, Benchmarking) allowing the site gaps/ projects to be identified.
  • Collaborate with ADS, SMAI and Central OI to enable breakthrough work to drive improvement in Planning metrics.

 

Deliver tactical support and program management

  • Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, timeline and resource requirements in collaboration with sponsors and partners and assure a rational roadmap
  • Establish structure and handle program dependencies, prioritize programs, handle project timeline, identify potential road blocks and develop resolution plans
  • Lead team’s internal and worldwide meeting structure to ensure meetings are efficient, effective and targeted to achieve required outcomes.
  • Handle key partners and incorporate feedback for continual improvement of overall program management.
  • Facilitate transition of system and business processes from project closure to long term sustainment
  • Travel as needed to ensure execution.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related field of study or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Working experience in Semiconductor Industry, in the area of Manufacturing or Planning is helpful, with good understanding of Fab processes and manufacturing concepts.
  • Data-focus personality with hands on experience in data collection, extraction, visualization. Familiar with common data analysis tool/database such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and program/ project management skills.
  • Collaboration with other individuals and groups, both internally and externally.
  • Effective interpersonal skills (verbal, written and presentation) to worldwide partners and leaders, ability to explain complex data and concepts in simple ways.
  • Proven record to build and lead network team with high level goals, motivate and sustain team to support project/ taskforce execution, solve problems and resolve roadblocks.
  • Proven track record to continuously improve systems and processes by striving to increase output of the network is desired.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships from cross-functional and multi-cultural groups is desired.
