§Title: Development of Dashboard for Process Conversion Management
§Description: Photolithography is a process used in semiconductor manufacturing to pattern parts of a film or substrate by transferring geometric patterns from a photomask through exposure onto a light sensitive chemical. Process Engineers are required to carry out various improvement actions through process conversions, in order to meet the yield, quality and cost requirements.
§Scope: Student will be introduced to the Photolithography process and cutting edge lithography tools used in a wafer fabrication plant, and have the opportunity to experience industrial-standard project execution. To interact with Process Engineers to understand the typical project structure as well as types of required data, then develop a dashboard (using Tableau software) to streamline the conversion flow for productivity improvement.
§Deliverable: A dashboard that will track the conversion project schedule, and remind owner if there’s any milestone reached or when key data is available. This dashboard should also automatically prepare the necessary data to save the manual work for the project owner.
