Regional Sales account Manager:

As a Regional Sales account Manager at Micron you will be responsible for Sales development and execution at a defined set of strategic customer accounts, with a focus on the EBU related segment.  You will manage a variety of sales activities to achieve company goals, while establishing key relationships and meeting customer expectations.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Establish and maintain customer relationships at targeted customers
  • Define account sales strategy and coordinate internal resources for execution to plan
  • Manage accounts to develop new business, while attaining corporate objectives and goals
  • Drive sales growth and resulting margin contribution
  • Coordinate tactical activities with supporting Business Units and Sales Operations worldwide
  • Customer specific forecasting by device and program
  • Frequent customer presentations and internal coordination to direct supporting activities
  • Effective negotiation of long term agreements, pricing, and terms of sale

 

Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Degree in BS Engineering, and related work experience. Master degree is a plus.
  • Significant experience in technical sales and business development
  • Strength in understanding market and corresponding customer use requirements for automotive, industry and consumer applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills supporting both customer and internal presentation activities
  • Ability to manage customer demand forecast, performance metrics, and system utilization
  • Desire to contribute to success, both for areas of direct ownership and overall process improvement
  • Aptitude to independently present Micron integrated product solutions to C-level suite and Technical stakeholders at defined customer accounts
  • Supply chain process knowledge
  • Understanding of Distribution and supporting channel environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, to multitask while meeting deadlines, and drive for results
