As the Talent Acquisition Senior Manager, you are responsible for planning and developing recruiting strategies to acquire and engage the best talents to meet the business needs. You and your team will provide and implement recruiting solutions to Micron organizations in China and the region. As an integral member of the HR management team, you will provide leadership in the development and implementation of recruiting strategies and ensures linkage with overall organizational strategies and objectives. You will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of these strategies by understanding the business direction and customer needs. To accomplish this, you will need to collaborate with other global talent acquisition leaders, HR business partners, peers, managers, and vendors from multiple organizations and companies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the talent acquisition team and take charge of the full spectrum of recruiting strategies and activities in the country.
  • Identify potential in each team member and take the responsibilities to coach them and help them to advance their career.
  • Lead and provide directions on university engagement strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory compliances and EICC Code of Conduct
  • Be a Micron Brand Ambassador and promote Micron Brand to external agencies and education institutions
  • Manage headcount planning and forecast and allocate appropriate resources.
  • Plan and manage recruiting budget.
  • Establish and lead strategic partnerships with vendors/education institutions and government agencies where applicable.
  • Partner with institutions/ government agencies to drive talent attraction programs and on STEM initiatives.
  • Provide tools and resources to deliver business targets.
  • Drive consistency and alignment of global programs locally.
  • Identify regional internal and external customers and stakeholders for your function, set expectations and affect the appropriate level of business delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.


  • A desired candidate will have at least 10 years of recruiting experience in the high-tech industry with experience in recruiting agencies and multinational companies.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role or has the experience in building a team with diverse backgrounds.
  • Intuitive with numbers. Able to drill into data to draw insights and to shape recruiting strategies.
  • Experience in change management and initiating and implementing a new program is a requirement.
  • Experience in developing university relationship and set strategies to form talent pipeline.
  • Strong influencing skills and interpersonal skills and able to lead a team to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Posses abilities in working with people from various locations and in diverse backgrounds.
  • Innovative minded and curiosity driven in looking for the best recruiting n solution.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering/ science, management, social science is required. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese.
