Technical Product Manager

The Product Manager will manage the activities related to the design and development of Micron's Managed NAND products. This covers all steps from product kick off through customer qualification. As a Product Manager, you will align and consolidate all present and future requirements and assure effective process by the respective Design and Development functional teams. You will also serve as the Development Team contact to all outside functions and departments.

 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams with a global footprint
  • Identify Partners and lead expectations
  • Lead cross functional development team meetings
  • Management of project achievements and deliverables
  • Track key development issues and escalate as needed in a timely manner
  • Drive key development issues which span multiple functional teams
  • Set targets and track key metrics related to product development
  • Assist in driving development methodology improvement
  • Document lessons learned utilizing DFMEA and 8D
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation and presentations
  • Track project resources and development costs
  • Perform any activities deemed vital to ensure the smooth and timely execution of the project
  • Ensure project development is following defined process development methodology

 

Successful candidates for this position will have:

 

  • Proven knowledge in project or program management fundamentals
  • Experience leading a technical development project
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build clear and concise presentations
  • Strong problem solving skills and experience coordinating cross functional problem solving efforts
  • Ability to make sophisticated decisions factoring in all priorities, consequences and variables
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Prochain, or similar software tools
  • Ability to drive cross functional teams toward a focused goal

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • BS degree in related engineering field
  • 3+ years of proven experience in program management or as a development lead
