Social Media Lead

We are looking for a Social Media Lead to join Micron’s Global Digital Marketing team. You will guide the development and execution of our social strategy, run our social channels and programs, and use social technology and data platforms to optimize our efforts and influence future social content and messaging strategies.

 

This role sits within the Corporate Digital Marketing team, part of Micron’s Corporate Marketing and Communications organization.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Director of Global Digital Marketing, you will develop Micron’s global Social Media Strategy and operating model
  • Help build the social media practice at Micron, including managing the social media community manager
  • Oversee the social content/editorial calendar and intake process, and guide social-first content development in partnership with internal teams
  • Develop a community management practice that ensures Micron is engaging with our external constituents on social channels in accordance with established SLAs
  • Build out key social programs that scale Micron’s paid and earned reach, including paid social, influencer outreach, leadership activation, and employee advocacy
  • Stand up social media listening and reporting to ensure we’re continuously monitoring brand health, optimizing our social efforts, and fostering insights back into the business
  • Design executive social media dashboards and campaign reports
  • Maintain relationships with key social platforms (eg, LinkedIn, Twitter) and technology vendors (eg, Sprinklr, Brandwatch)
  • Lead all aspects of social media governance, and serve as the internal SME on social media to provide guidance on social strategies to drive internal adoption

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility in social media marketing working for a Fortune 500 company
  • A passion for social media and understanding its business impact, and an in-depth knowledge of social platforms and trends
  • Experience working in a global environment with good communication skills to collaborate with senior internal partners
  • Track record of delivering high quality digital media campaigns in very dynamic, high paced environments
  • Experience using social technology and data to measure impact and resolve improvements
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise social media community management and listening platforms
  • Experience working with external partners/agencies on digital media campaigns
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the Enterprise B2B Tech space and/or semi-conductor industry
  • Paid social media experience
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality digital media campaigns in very dynamic enterprise-level environments
  • MBA or Masters degree in marketing or related field preferred
