Quality and Reliability Engineer

As a Quality and Reliability engineer in Micron ASIC Team, you will be responsible for RMA ASIC quality issue resolution. You will be assigned products to support RMA evaluation for external or internal customers return units on system/device level evaluation to duplicate for failure mode and to analyze for root cause and lead change in design or spec if it’s related to controller. You will lead Micron internal controller Qual flow activities.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:


  • Evaluate customer return device on system level as well as on device level (such as ATE, XRAY, IV curve, bench) to compare and to analyze for root cause investigation
  • Lead debug and data gather activity for failure correlation & issue duplication process
  • Responsible for cross-team communication in debug activities from ASIC side.
  • Track actions, schedules, and owners to maintain cycle time and deliveries on progress, initiate internal corrective actions.
  • Lead ASIC Qual flow that includes following activities: HTOL, ELFR, Latch UP, ESD Tests
  •  Lead data extractions summary and FA activity in case of fails
  • Drive improvement of internal quality systems with the goal of reducing outgoing PPM defective to customers.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related fields with 5+ year experience with high speed transceiver testing
  • Hands on experience with test equipment such as scopes, BERTs and analyzers
  • Experience in characterizing PLL, CDR, TX/RX analog front-end
  • Experience in common scripting languages such as Python/PERL and object-oriented languages such as C/C++/VBA.
