Program Manager, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion

If so, this role will allow you to collaborate with key partners and the DEI team to develop and execute holistic strategies to make a difference for Micron team members.

 

As a Program Manager, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion at Micron Technology, you will work with the global HR Team, Business Leaders and other key partners to drive our Employee Resource Group (ERG) and Inclusion initiatives globally. Reporting into the Vice President of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, you will be responsible for the design, development and integration of targeted Inclusion programs and initiatives that align to Micron’s global Diversity, Equality and Inclusion strategy.

 

This position can be located in San Jose, Boise, Japan, SIngapore, Taiwan, or China.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead all aspects of the formation and global expansion of our Employee Resource Groups
  • Partner with ERGs and Executive Sponsors to establish clear governance and goals that are tied to business impact and evaluated regularly
  • Collaborate closely with ERGs to craft and develop research, reports and/or models required to evaluate results and efficiency of ERG plans
  • Identify and implement process improvements and metrics based on industry standard methodologies
  • Plan events, including preparing budgets, retaining vendors, preparing communications and marketing materials
  • Assist with implementing social media strategy for the organization and ERGs
  • Develop and lead the annual global ERG summit
  • Own the development and implementation of our global Inclusive Leader training initiative, in partnership with Leadership Development
  • Utilize technology and standard methodologies to develop new innovative learning programs that drive DEI awareness, understanding and action
  • Lead DEI Council, including meeting facilitation, council goals, training and deliverables
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in organizational change, inclusion and talent to build strategies and tactics that improve inclusion culture
  • Partner with the DEI data analyst and the People Analytics Team to measure and report progress on the advancement of Inclusion initiatives
  • Provide a framework and mentorship for ERG membership records, budget, and expense management
  • Partner with Learning team to build career development programs for ERG Leaders
  • Maintain close relationships with business partners, HR and team members to identify DEI learning needs

 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • 4+ years of Diversity & Inclusion experience or related experience in HR, Talent Management or Program Management
  • Proven program management experience with the ability to effectively drive cross-functional projects with multiple partners
  • Expert facilitation skills with experience developing and delivering locally-relevant diversity content
  • Proven track record to work with all levels of management as a tactical and strategic partner, mentor and advisor
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to influence and build trusting relationships
  • Ability to interpret data and transform those insights into measurable strategies
  • Prior experience working in a large, global organization a must
  • Ability to follow assignments through to completion with a bias towards action
  • Ability to travel
