Marketing Technology Lead

We are looking for a Marketing Technology (MarTech) Lead to join Micron’s Global Digital Marketing team. Reporting the Director of Digital Marketing, you will design and execute on a best-in-class MarTech architecture and roadmap. You will have hands-on experience with and be proficient in the latest digital technologies and customer data management practices across web and mobile, native app, email, advertising, social and analytics with a successful track record of launching omnichannel personalized experiences.

 

You will work cross-functionally serving as the MarTech SME to deliver category-shifting digital experiences for a broad set of B2B audiences across the globe. You have a strong understanding of customer facing digital solutions and industry trends and can translate such trends into measurable technical innovation. Lastly, and most importantly, you recognize that technology should never be the inhibitor of outstanding ideas.

 

This role sits within the Corporate Digital Marketing team, part of Micron’s Corporate Marketing and Communications organization.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain Micron’s global MarTech architecture and roadmap as part of a broader digital transformation initiative – from strategy to execution
  • Build technical solutions to complex business problems using enterprise-grade MarTech SaaS platforms (eg, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Sitecore XP)
  • Translate user needs and/or business requirements into technical solutions that deliver measurable results
  • Communicate sophisticated business challenges and solutions for senior leaders, with the ability to keep it at a high level or dive into the detail as needed
  • Partner with Digital Marketing and IT peers to ensure the MarTech stack and cloud infrastructure are always operating effectively and efficiently
  • Work with operations and vendor management to run RFPs and select and onboard new MarTech platforms
  • Optimize existing web CMS implementations across our global and regional web properties, both pre- and post-login
  • Partner with the Content team in the design and deployment of in-house testing & optimization, personalization, and email & marketing automation practices
  • Create a lead scoring methodology and stand up attribution modelling
  • Identify and build a business case for cutting edge, innovative digital experiences (e.g., conversational search, AR, VR)
  • Lead the approach to carry out and optimize our digital data ingestion and validation process, as well as transformation and usage of the data for reporting and customer journey tracking
  • Partner with Marketing Operations on the development of new systems governance and training documentation to ensure smooth rollout and adoption of systems
  • Partner with Micron internal IT team to integrate marketing technology products

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience implementing and managing enterprise technology platforms
  • 5+ years’ experience as delivery lead for global web and/or marketing systems implementations
  • 3+ years of experience working in marketing organizations
  • Strong profiency ith Marketing tools such as Sitecore XP, Adobe AEM, Adobe Marketo, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce CRM
  • Strong Agile Marketing Acumen and Ways of Working (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban)
  • Deep knowledge in technology design, data and systems integration
  • Comfortable writing SQL Queries, designing tables and communicating with databases
  • Passion for agile software processes, data driven development, reliability, and experimentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to combine attention to detail with big picture perspective
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Understanding of the Enterprise B2B Tech space and/or semiconductor industry
  • Familiarity with eCommerce SaaS (eg, Adobe Magento)
