As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: 

Design in the Non-Volatile Memory Group at Micron Technology, Inc., will be core technical individual contributor in design and validation of the analog and mixed signal subsystem in NAND FLASH chips. In this highly visible and challenging role, you are responsible for analog IP development and product definition, system integration and full-chip and block-level validation plan and execution, including DC-DC switched capacitor converter designs, linear low voltage (LDOs) and high voltage regulators, bandgap voltage generators and DACs, various types of oscillators. You will be designing, simulating, optimizing, and floor planning NAND circuits, evaluating design feasibility, working closely with other functional teams to evaluate, analyze, and improve NAND power consumption.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high level of self-motivation.
  • Prior analog/mixed signal circuit design experience (charge pumps, op amps, DACs, ADCs, linear regulators, oscillators, bandgaps)
  • Proficiency performing analog and mixed signal simulations using standard industry simulators (Verilog, VerilogA, Spice, XA, HSIM)
  • Knowledge of circuit verification and optimization, including layout planning, verification and parasitic extractions of the circuits.
  • Familiarity with Cadence design, LVS/DRC tools (a plus).
  • Good fundamentals in semiconductor and device physics.
  • Strong circuit debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of TCL, PERL or Python is a plus

Education/Experience requirements:

  • You are actively pursuing MS degree in Electrical Engineering, or pursuing BS and have 5 years experience (graduation date should not be prior to December 2020)
  • Having design experience of 1- 3 years is desirable
