Head of Identity and Access Management

The Head of Identity and Access Management leads the analysis, implementation, and design of identity and access management solutions globally. You will be accountable for delivering identity and access management solutions used by devices, employees, contractors, JV partners and external parties, while also working within IT solution delivery teams to move the company forward with industry standard identity solutions.


In this role, you will partner with the Global Security team to ensure that identity solutions support the authorization and authentication needs of the organization as well as incident detection and correlation. You will work with Internal Audit to ensure that identity systems provide sufficient audit information. This position reports to the VP, Chief Security Officer and will have people leadership responsibilities. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Accountable for the development and delivery of standards, practices, policies and oversight programs to ensure effective configuration and governance of identity and access controls in the company
  • Provide technical expertise and direction in the areas of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
  • Ensure effective day-to-day operational support for global IAM solutions
  • Develop and establish appropriate metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Identify critical components and strategies required for successful maintenance and deployment of IAM architecture and roadmap
  • Own and lead discussions in business and technical IT solution recommendations, implementations, upgrades and integrations as they relate to IAM
  • Build and maintain relationships with global partners, including software developers and business representatives with access control issues
  • Oversee additional risk activities


  • 10+ years experience in IT roles including interactions with senior leadership
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field of study
  • Experience with strategy definition or program management
  • Solid understanding of security concepts such as threat, vulnerability and risk assessment
  • Ability to define and communicate risk in business-relevant language
  • Experience managing medium capital and operational expense budget
  • In-depth knowledge of IT Identity and Access Management practices, including: Single Sign-On, identity federation, enterprise directory architecture, role-based access control, OAuth, SAML and account provisioning
  • Broad knowledge in analyzing and applying information security or risk management disciplines
  • Developing, implementing or architecting IT identity and access management
  • Experience with cloud identity and access
  • Extensive experience with developing data access management strategies
  • Good communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Experience working in a high-pressure dynamic and global environment
  • Ability to train risk concepts to non-technical people
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • CISSP or CISM Certification highly preferred
  • Semiconductor experience preferred
