Data Center Strategy and Content Lead

Micron’s Technology and Business Marketing team within the Global Communications and Marketing group (GCM) is looking for a marketing lead to work as part of a team of two focusing on our data center strategy. They will be responsible for co-owning a segment marketing plan, providing day to day support and integration with business unit stakeholders to the broader GCM team, maintaining a leadership editorial calendar of announcements, and creating technical content focused on the data center.

 

This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Data Center and Edge and will need to work closely with additional team members, business unit stakeholders, and stakeholders within the broader GCM team. A familiarity with data center technologies/infrastructure and technology hardware is required.

 

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Co-own the data center segment marketing plan, focused on specific audiences and integrating disclosures, announcements and events as well as targeted content
  • Craft segment messaging that is aligned with corporate narrative
  • Work with business unit stakeholders on partner marketing opportunities
  • Maintain yearly editorial calendar focused on data center
  • Develop technical content to support the data center storyline

 

 

Requirements:

  • Familiar with data center infrastructure and technologies as well as industry trends
  • Show an understanding of integrated marketing
  • Comfortable with agility and speed in decision making
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills
  • Ability to develop cross-functional communication and build relationships
  • Be an advocate for diversity and inclusion

 

 

Education/Experience:

  • 10+ years of overall Marketing, Communications, and Content Creation
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy positions
  • Degree/Major:
    • Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication and/or related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing plans/editorial strategy/planning and cross-organizational relationships
  • Experience in a large, fast growing, fast paced company and/or in the high-tech sector
