Social Media Community Management Lead

We are looking for a Social Media Community Management Lead to join Micron’s Global Digital Marketing team. You have a hybrid creative and analytical mindset that allows you to guide the creation of social content that engages the audience emotionally and inspires them to take action. You are passionate about social and are dialed in to the latest social trends for B2B and Technology brands. You will manage our social channels and programs, using enterprise social technology and data platforms to optimize our efforts and influence future social content and messaging strategies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Social Media Lead, you will help inform Micron’s global Social Media Strategy and operating model
  • Own day-to-day management of the global social media editorial calendar and collaborate with partners on acquiring approvals before publication
  • Help conceptualize and create social first content that advances Micron’s thought leadership with key audiences
  • Schedule and post relevant content in accordance with Content Calendar (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube)
  • Engage with our external constituents on social channels, including identified influencers
  • Contribute to campaign reports for both key partners and team learnings
  • Supervise global accounts for opportunities to engage, and respond appropriately per established guidelines
  • Help manage Micron’s employee advocacy program, amplifying brand reach, awareness and engagement

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive responsibility in social media marketing working for a large enterprise business or agency environment with Fortune 500 clients
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • A passion for social media and understanding its business impact, and an in-depth knowledge of social platforms and trends
  • Strong writing and editorial background, with ability to drive key messaging and audience engagement
  • Experience working in a global environment with good communication skills to collaborate with internal partners
  • Track record of delivering high quality digital media campaigns in very dynamic, high paced environments
  • Experience using social technology and data to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Familiarity with enterprise social media community management and listening platforms
  • Ability to gracefully adapt to changing work circumstances

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the Enterprise B2B Tech space and/or semi-conductor industry
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Talkwalker and Workfront
