As a Global Procurement Talent Management Program Manager you will be responsible for creating and implementing talent management programs to build competencies and capabilities needed in our evolving Procurement organization. This includes:

  • understanding the increasing skills and competencies required to meet the organization’s desired state
  • establishing strategy to meet future capability needs
  • defining organizational and role capabilities and competences
  • implementing the programs that develop Global Procurement talent
  • collaborating with global partners and business partners to enable business objectives and goals through workforce development, leadership development, and organization effectiveness

Provide Training and Development Solutions

  • Perform needs analysis on requests or business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partner to develop training and manage related materials that support business needs.
  • Design, develop, and implement training programs and curriculum to meet needs and requirements.
  • Determine delivery requirements and technology for easy access to training materials.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and curriculum; modify appropriately.
  • Provide instruction and/or facilitation
  • Coordinate logistics and equipment
  • Integrate Performance Management concepts into training and development solutions.

Administer Processes and Systems

  • Administer and manage systems to support training and development.
  • Apply company standards to administer, maintain, and audit training records and reports.
  • Use and maintain Micron and Global Procurement training processes and guidelines.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain up-to-date job profiles.

Manage, Lead, and/or Participate In Projects

  • Define projects; identify project scope, resources, and timeline; create metrics and achievements; and execute to plan.
  • Evaluate and address risk management.
  • Lead change. Communicate project status and goals with partners.

Education Required:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in:
  • Education Leadership/Adult Learning, Human Resource Management, Training and Development or related field of study

Experience Required

  • 5 years experience in any of the following: Training/Development/Education/Human Resources/Communication

Qualifications:

  • Learning and development experience in global business environment
  • Strong program or project management, PMP certification preferred
  • Ability to think strategically and deploy tactically
  • Ability to influence professionals and senior leaders and lead change across a global organization
  • A proven ability to partner with global partners
  • Strong desire to drive improvement, not settle for status quo
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Dedication to meeting the team’s expectations and requirements
  • Steadfastly pushes self and others for results
