FRONTEND MATERIAL SQE MANAGER 1

As a Senior Global Supplier Quality Manager, you will be responsible to define the strategy, execution plans and excursion prevention programs to develop Suppliers through Continuous Improvement Programs to ensure consistent supply of Quality procured materials/services to Micron. You will work in close partnership with key stakeholders such as Global Quality, Global Procurement, Global Manufacturing Central Team (MCT), Operations, Product Engineering and R&D to develop, execute and measure the effectiveness of Supplier Programs.

In addition, you will support Supplier Performance Reviews to ensure suppliers receive timely and accurate supplier performance feedback based on consistent metrics and that the expectation of continuous improvement is understood and realized.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Development Phase - Sourcing, Selection and Qualification Phase

  • Collaborate with Supplier and IQC CHEM LAB to align Best-In-Class (BIC) method detection.
  • Algin and guide CHEM LAB to support Fab test requirements which include but not limited to:
    • Conduct BIC test analysis method and align with site Chem Lab to support manufacturing needs (FOAK eval, routine quality monitoring, troubleshooting, improvements, etc.).
    • Align & document with site CHEM LAB on lab methods / tools / practices and target to achieve low detection and fast TAT.
    • To provide a platform for technical or knowledge sharing for all labs (including R&D).
    • Conduct Regular Technical and Quality Review Meetings with Suppliers.
    • Lead Micron & Suppliers towards ISO17025 compliance.
  • Lead Technical Risk Assessment lab audit for new Supplier / Material engagement or qualification and to assess their measurement capability and readiness for High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
  • Set up, communicate, and ensure suppliers understood Micron Expectations.
  • Deploy Lesson Learnt and Benchmark to/with Suppliers to ensure Controls and Preventive measures are in place to support Shift-Left-Strategy.
  • Support Category Strategy for Supplier / Material development programs.
  • Participate and support Global Sourcing and Segmentation strategies, including test method benchmarking and analytics.
  • Provides advice to senior and executive management on strategic decisions.

     

    Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' laboratory experience in which candidate had responsibility.
  • Previous experience working for a semiconductor related field is preferred.
    • Possess IATF & ISO17025 knowledge and certification with external ISO 17025 audit experience.
    Possess knowledge in analytical instruments (set up/configurations) and relevant technical knowledge.

    • Experience with wafer, chemical and slurry IQC testing.

    • Experience with products’ contamination troubleshooting process is an added advantage.

    • Experience in working with FE Material suppliers (supplier laboratory audit) is an added advantage.

    • Chem lab background with accredited lab experiences will be an added advantage.

    • Posses effective working experience with suppliers’ laboratory and correlation is a must.
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional organizations to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements
