SIG Senior Process Engineer

  • Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products deployed in the sub-con's.
  • Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.
  • Oversees the activities related to the technical support and sustaining engineering functions in a product manufacturing area.
  • Plans and directs implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products.
  • Acts as engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible.
  • Collaborating with Product Engineering teams to implement new products and monitor existing products.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-specific engineering issues and acts as a liaison with cross-functional teams in Boise.
  • Manage Area Personnel and Programs
  • Monitor and hold Team Members accountable for consistent performance standards
  • Makes decisions that directly impact the achievement of work unit and sub-function objectives
  • Sets objectives for the performance of team member. Provides guidance to the team member and advises on issues related to sub-function
  • Begins working on career development responsibilities for direct reports and adapts communication style to engage and motivate team member Manage Quality
  • Manage quality improvement programs in respective areas
  • Be aware of legal policies
  • Utilize corporate resources including HR, legal, and health services
  • Be proactive to avert avoidable problems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience on SMT assembly process.  
  • Independent and highly motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills Able to adapt to changes in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Must have knowledge on stencil design, reflow profiling & wave soldering process
  • Knowledge in Selective wave programming & process.
  • Knowledge in JMP software.
  • Knowledge in MCA & machine CPK study.
  • Possess own transport.
  • Able to work in flexible time with global team under minimum supervision.
