The EMEA Region Price Analyst is responsible to optimize pricing for EBU’s value-added memory solutions across a broad range of applications. This person is responsible for developing, evaluating, and implementing EBU pricing strategies and models to optimize results based upon current business objectives, competitive & market dynamics, and product strategies. To do so, the Pricing Analyst must works closely with product and segment marketing, finance, business operations, and the EBU Regional Manager to establish pricing programs/proposals aligned with revenue goals. This person will also need to work effectively with pricing analysts in other regions to ensure consistent pricing around the world. This may require attending meetings outside of normal working hours.

 


Responsibilities and Tasks

 

  • Coordinating price setting for all EBU product solutions that reflect and reinforce the value proposition and competitive advantages of the business unit.
  • Communicating and executing pricing strategies with EBU Marketing and Sales teams to achieve business unit P&L objectives.
  • Administering pricing databases and coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across EBU
  • Driving price quote response and results through collaboration with EBU Sales and Marketing teams.  Includes direct, distribution, transfer; contracts, quote for buy and budgetary pricing.
  • Developing and implement pricing processes within various pricing tools like Model N and SAP.  Providing analysis and recommendations for all requests that require GM approval.
  • Conducting research and performing competitive pricing analysis within EBU markets
  • Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure pricing practices do not adversely impact company and help optimize pricing performance.
  • Support pricing models and presenting output to key stakeholders.
  • Providing assistance as required with business planning, finance, and divisions to develop a complete and comprehensive business plan.
  • Managing EBU price book refresh cycle and associated tasks.
  • Managing regional performance and driving corrective action plans where needed to support BU objectives
  • Support key account contract negotiations, occasional travel and participation in direct negotiations required.

 

 

 

Experience

 

Successful candidates must demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative information and translate into meaningful recommendations
  • Previous semiconductor pricing experience preferred
  • Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to detail
  • Ability to align internal stakeholders within Marketing, Finance,  and Sales
  • Ability to research & comprehend competitive marketing landscape
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders in other geographies
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) 
  • Intermediate to Advanced level with Excel
  • Access or Database Management experience preferred

 

 

 Other Qualifications

 

  • Applicant must possess 5-10 years of international business experience in Hi-Tech Pricing, Marketing, or Finance
  • Preference given for experience in semiconductor industry
  • Applicant must possess a four year degree in Marketing and/or Business (or a related field), MBA preferred. 
  • Must be fluent in English & German
