In the position as systems architect, you will be a key member of the Automotive group within Micron’s Embedded Business Unit . This is a customer and internally facing role that will work closely with the Tier 1 customers, OEMS, and chipset vendors to propose solutions based on state-of-the art and emerging memory technologies as they are applied to current and future generation infotainment, VCU, and gateway platforms . This individual will partner closely with sales and marketing to find the right solution for the customer’s challenges. Additionally, through extensive understanding of the aforementioned markets and associated trends, this individual will develop product requirements to create, drive, and execute the next generation leadership memory products. 


  • A Bachelor's Degree in EE or Equivalent Technical Degree; Prefer MS/PhD
  • 10+ yrs experience in the system architecture definition of in vehicle systems
  • Strong experience and understanding of the practical aspects of VCU, gateways, and automotive system design and deployment
  • Extensive understanding of silicon architectures and solutions / chipsets used in in vehicle infotainment and next generation SW defined cockpit platforms
  • System characterization of automotive platforms.
  • Sound technical background and knowledge of FPGA, DSP, ARM Processors, embedded SW/RTOS, and sub-system micro-architectures
  • Strong communication skills, excellent customer interaction, interpersonal skills and presentation skills are an essential requirement for this role
