As a Site Planner,  you are responsible to provide a Commit Plan to GSM (Global Supply Management) to meet the Business Requirement in a tactical Horizon. To provide production schedule and to work collaboratively with various stake holders including Production, Engineering Group, Warehouse and Logistics to ensure commitment are delivered in a timely manner.

You’ll be the liaison person in MMY to communicate effectively with GSM, and other Stake holder such as Fab and Subcon Assembly on Planning matters and as well as ensuring loading optimization and protect customer requirement.

You’re also required to validate CTM SOS (Statement of Supply), perform capacity checks, identify constraints, and work with various groups namely Site IE, Assembly and Test Engineering Group.



Major Responsibilities, but not limited to:


  • Determine Statement of Supply (SOS) for Micron customers and build plans for manufacturing areas. Validation needs to be done to ensure CTM output is optimal based on demand, supply, cycle time, capacity, yield and other factors.
  • Perform weekly goal setting discussion, alignment and agreement with internal stake holders.
  • Work closely with stake holders to ensure the Production Goal is executable, and feasible in terms of capacity, Wip and Supply.
  • Monitor Wip (including Hold Lots, Old lots), inventory level and take necessary action to expedite for supply shortage and excessive bank inventory.
  • Check for in actionable Wip, slow moving, aged inventory and drive actions with GSM and stake holders to get the disposition.
  • Work collaboratively with Site IE, Engineering Group and Production to validate and challenge Statement of Capacity, for optimum output performance.
  • Support loading optimization internally, looks for opportunity to maximize equipment utilizations and at the same time reduce inventory level.
  • Manage and handle escalation and priority products with GSM and stake holders.
  • Support Customer Samples to meet OPD (Original Promise Date)
  • Contribute and participate in the future Planning Tools and System Development, such CSM (Capacity Super Model, Line Management Tool, and DMR (Daily Manufacturing Re plan).



  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline, preferably in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Degree in Business Management/ Statistics, with preference a good knowledge in the Supply Chain concept, Planning System Methodology and related Business Process.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong interest in working in a dynamic and challenging environment. Deliver a sound judgments and good in decision making.
  • Strong analytical skill, fast learner, independent and highly motivated and work well with given a short lead time, having multi-tasking capability and willing to take new challenges.
