Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and establish the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for storage-class memory (SCM) product line. Own and manage full life cycle of product portfolio.
  • Manage and drive the defined strategy across the functional organizations to achieve program objectives which includes working with engineering teams to design, develop, and launch high quality products on time
  • Partner with key customers to identify their problems in data center and propose creative products to solve them.  Maintain an excellent understanding of customer needs, market requirements, and technology trends to enable us to develop next generation SCM products.
  • Work with Executives, Customers, Sales, Partners, Channels, Engineering and other key stakeholders to develop productive and collaborative relationships.
  • Develop business plans including pricing strategies, product specifications (Product Requirements Documents, Market Requirements Documents), catalogues, sell-sheets, training aids, web presence and promotional events. 
  • Gather and interpret the competitive landscape within SCM industry.
  • Work effectively in a high energy, complex environment.
  • Establish self as a thought leader for the solutions that are developed and managed, evangelizing the solution’s roadmap/vision as well as its value both internally and externally for Micron.

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of experience in the enterprise storage market working on storage systems, storage management software, and virtualization as a Product Manager. Prior technical Product Manager experience in this segment is critical for the success. 
  • An excellent understanding of global Cloud (Public, Private and Hybrid) and Converged Infrastructure market drivers and requirements – with a focus on system level solutions – as well as solid, but broad, understanding of storage, compute, networking, security and application technologies relevant to the solution.
  • Extensive experience in presenting to field teams and industry forums, and a demonstrated ability to engage customers and Account Teams in qualifying Cloud solutions, architectures and requirements. 
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communications as well as influencing skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills are critical. Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and lead cross-functional teams. 
  • A proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing and often conflicting priorities. 

 

Education & Experience: 

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience is required. 
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree is required.
  • MBA from a reputed Business school is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete complex technical projects.
