Business Operations Manager

As a Business Operations Manager in the Consumer Products Group (CPG) at Micron, you will be responsible in long range planning, customer sample coordination, customer requirements table management, Other responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data as it relates to business operations, tracking performance on established metrics, and generating business focused reports. You will work closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Demand Management and Sales Operations providing business unit support and mentorship.

 

In this role your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible on supply for long range planning. Analyze the gap on supply and forecast. Drive for the resolution on the supply gap
  • Providing long range analysis on 3rd Quarter to 3yrs plans. Working with a long-term perspective to address customer's needs
  • "Big picture" thinking skills to address top-level concerns and find the best path forward from all of the available data
  • Collaborates with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic goals, corporate allocation teams, and others (Global Operations teams, Finance, Sales, Marketing, CNBU)
  • Review market trends; analyzes and applies this information in development of strategies for individual market segments
  • Leads business process improvement. new business initiatives, pilot programs, and regional rollouts; based on results, makes, recommends, and implements adjustments and modifications
  • Proactively working to streamline processes and systems
  • Providing analysis and direction on key business decisions within the manufacturing planning process to ensure the accurate product is built for the customers that we planned to support
  • Ensuring supply availability for promotional activity planned with channel partners
  • Supervising qualification and transition progress of new DRAM Programs, designs, or die shrinks
  • Collaborating with Sales Operations and other cross functional groups to identify and understand any potential and existing business problems
  • Resolving alternative solutions based on available infrastructure and resources
  • Summarizing conclusions and recommending course of action

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid understanding of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop measurable insights from data
  • The ability to be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction
  • The ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • An eye for business to achieve tactical goals and see opportunities for operational excellence within your position
  • The ability to work cross functionally and lead via indirect influence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • The ability to comfortably give presentations to large groups

 

Education:

  • Minimum of a BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Math or Statistics
